A Collaboration Of 3 Womxn Owned Brands, Captured By An All Womxn Creative Photoshoot
Bianca, the new Delta Of Phoenix white pearl embroidery dress, is a dream-come-true crystal, pearlescent angelic ballgown, and is sustainably created using locally sourced luxury fabrics, embodying handmade sustainable fashion and dopamine dressing collectively. Each white pearl embroidery dress order is handmade with love at Delta Of Phoenix HQ by me, and each pearl embroidery bead is individually handsewn onto the white Spring dress, making each garment entirely & beautifully unique. This Spring Fashion look was inspired by my BFF's wedding day, Carol Ann Duffy's 'Mrs Beast' & the inside of oyster shells. A timeless Spring fashion colour & silhouette, with matching white pearl embroidery sleeves to complete the look, Bianca is a totally perfect forever wardrobe item. The Bianca white pearl embroidery dress was dreamt of and designed by me at the cosiest Aberdeen home during the coldest week of 2022, whilst at another friend’s magical Scottish Christmas wedding. The pearl embroidery represents the way those Aberdeen frozen dew drops glowed in the sunshine. As part of Delta Of Phoenix’s LUXURIA collection, the waterfall silhouette is just divine and perfect for Spring fashion.
After Bianca white pearl embroidery dress was designed and created at Delta Of Phoenix HQ, I knew I wanted to create the dreamiest photoshoot backed by all the divine feminine energy, to reveal Bianca white pearl embroidery dress to the world.
I reached out to Jola @jolamercii , CEO of JOSCOMBO @joscombo , Oliv Hanham @oliv.hanham , incredibly talented film photographer, Tab and Jade, Leftbians Jewellery @leftbians and Pop Brixton @popbrixton . Together, we created a glowing, empowering and striking visual, featuring and celebrating 3 small womxn led brands:

Popping to Pop Brixton was a wonderful day out in itself, and they’re always welcoming and supportive of small brands/creative projects. Post photoshoot, Jola, Oliv & I were able to choose from the most delicious array of lunch options, and we all chose alternate options but were able to sit and eat and celebrate together. It’s genuinely an element that makes such a positive difference to a focused work photoshoot day, to be able to actually celebrate and reflect with such an inspirational team and actually get to know one another. (I went for wine + chicken karaage because I genuinely think this is the glammest combo of all time).

Below is a short interview with the supernova that is Jola; CEO of JOSCOMBO cosmetics, fashion student and model. Jola is such a joy to work with each time, always emanating joy.
- WHAT DOES YOUR BRAND JOSCOMBO MEAN TO YOU, AND WHAT DOES IS REPRESENT/UPHOLD?
Joscombo means black empowerment to me, when I was thinking of creating my brand I wanted it to speak to a lot of black / African women, our shades suit everyone however I wanted it to specifically empower African women which is done through the name of our shades “Cleopatra” the Egyptian queen meaning we are all queens and “Liberian girl” which is from the famous Michael Jackson song that speaks about a beautiful black woman who stole his heart. Black women are everything I really wanted my brand to speak volume of this and make them feel beautiful and know that they hold so much power!!
- HOW DOES IT FEEL TO WEAR DELTA OF PHOENIX AND MODEL FOR DELTA OF PHOENIX?
Modelling for Delta Of Phoenix has been my favourite shoot and I believe it will always be, Francesca evidently puts so much love and care into her products which really inspires me, HAND MADE???! So amazing and inspiring and I can’t wait to see how far Delta Of Phoenix goes as a brand. It will truly flourish and will one day be on the cover of vogue / featured and yes I shall be the one modelling it! Parenting with Delta Of Phoenix was honestly so amazing everything came together so wonderfully I could shed a tear! Oliva is such a great photographer and she shot the garments in such a beautiful way that captured the beauty and uniqueness of Delta Of Phoenix’s dresses and sleeves.
- WHAT’S YOUR IDEAL 3 COURSE MEAL? STARTER, MAIN & DESSERT
My ideal 3 course meal omg this is a tricky one…
Starter would be prawns / shrimp yum - I want to be a prawn.
Main would be steak.
Dessert would be Ivy Asia’s iconic desert called ‘Samurai’ it’s dark chocolate mousse with chocolate brownie, vanilla ice cream and chocolate pearls.
