FRAN: Hi Lucy! So, if you were a flower, what flower would you be and why?
LUCY: Helloooo, I’d say I’d be a sunflower! Kind of ironic as yellow is not my colour but to me they’re just the happiest of flowers and thrive in the sunshine!
FRAN: You style up beautiful looks and feature your stoma - this is one of the reasons why I fell in love with your feed initially (it really educated me too). How does this openness and wonderful ethos feel? Do you have any words for others that are experiencing the same?
LUCY: I think knowing I’ve been able to help others going through the same is the reason I’m motivated to keep going. It’s weird because I started a blog at 12 years old, before all this craziness of illness happened and I primarily just wanted to share my style. Now being able to do that along with educating people at the same time is honestly the best feeling!
FRAN: You’re at one of those ice cream shops with 1000 flavours. You have three scoops - what do you choose?
LUCY: Ooooo I’d choose mint, cookie dough & maybe a chocolate one!
FRAN: Any advice for creating content, and for those aspiring to become content creators for brands?
LUCY: I’d always say just do what makes you happy and inspires you, it’s a very saturated space but I think brands are leaning towards the authenticity of people these days. I’ve been doing this since I was 12 and it’s always just been a fun hobby, even if I can earn off it now it’s still all for fun!
FRAN: What’s your dream meal? Starter, Main and Dessert?
LUCY: Oooo honestly anything greek! There’s a restaurant in Kos called Zorbas and my dream meal is literally anything of their menu.
